Invite teammates, understand workspace roles, and keep at least one active owner in place.

Invite a teammate

    Open Members

    Only Owners and Admins can see and manage the member list.

    Enter an email address

    The invite is tied to that email address. The teammate must sign in with the same Google account email to activate membership.

    Choose a role

    New invitations default to Agent, but an Owner or Admin can choose another role within their permissions.

    Send the invite

    ReTicketDesk sends an invitation email and shows the member as Invited until they sign in.

Role behavior today

Owner
Can manage members, assign Owner roles, manage workspace setup, and must remain active if they are the last Owner.
Admin
Can manage members and workspace setup, but cannot promote someone to Owner unless they are also an Owner.
Agent
Works from the ticket queue and does not see manager-only setup and member screens.
Viewer
Does not see manager-only setup and member screens. Treat this as a limited navigation role in the current app.

Manager-only areas

Inboxes and Members are restricted to Owners and Admins. The ticket queue, tags, saved replies, workspace picker, and settings overview are available to active members.

Member status

  • Invited means the invitation exists but the teammate has not activated it by signing in.
  • Active means the teammate can enter the workspace.
  • Suspended means access is disabled without deleting the historical membership record.
  • You cannot suspend yourself, and the workspace must keep at least one active Owner.
